Karin Flora is a PhD candidate specializing in Italian art of the Early Modern era. Her research interests include the materiality of art and medial interplay, curatorial studies, manuscript studies, global trade and collecting, with a focus on monochrome paintings. She has held a position as a researcher and writer creating exhibition materials for the Wexner Center for the Arts. Karin received her MA in Art History from The Ohio State University. She received her BA in French, with a minor in Art History, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
