Maika Kagawa Bahr is a PhD student studying twentieth-century Japanese visual culture. She is particularly interested in prints, popular culture, culinary history, and feminism. She is also interested in studying the visual culture of Asian America. Prior to pursuing her PhD, Maika earned a B.A. in Art History with a minor in Digital Humanities.
