Many faculty members and graduate students in History of Art are active curators in the field, and many of our graduates hold curatorial positions at institutions around the world. Central to this work is the Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practice, which equips students with the academic and practical skills that are necessary for work in the field.

Our graduate students contribute to our vibrant community by participating in students organizations. They take active leaderships roles, shaping the intellectual discourse of the department and field. Further, they build valuable curatorial and organizational skills to carry into their careers.
