Advising

The Department of History of Art offers undergraduate majors and minors the opportunity to meet with a faculty advisor. Typically these meetings are scheduled for 30 minutes. Faculty members will assist with schedule mapping and deciding which classes to take and when. They will be available to make sure all students are on track to graduate in a timely manner and that students take courses in an appropriate order.

Undergraduate Advisors

Students should first look for availability with an advisor in OnCourse. If unable to find an appointment that works in your schedule, please email historyofart@osu.edu to set up an appointment at a different time. 


General Education (GE) Advising

As a major in History of Art, you are also a part of the greater College of Arts and Sciences. For all curriculum requirements not associated with History of Art, you will need to contact an academic counselor in the College of Arts and Sciences. This person will advise you on the General Education Curriculum, graduation requirements, and Arts and Sciences policies and procedures.
