Adam Pendleton (b. 1984) is a multidisciplinary conceptual artist who has quickly established himself as one of today’s foremost emerging artists. His work—from painting, silkscreen printing, performance, publishing, photographic collage, and video—investigates and analyzes the contextual nature of history and language through appropriated imagery. His work has been exhibited internationally in venues such as The Museum of Modern Art, The New Museum, and The Whitney Museum in New York; MOCA Cleveland; the 56th Venice Biennale; The Baltimore Museum of Art; and the Tate Modern, London.
