Professor Danny Marcus has curated the exhibition To Begin, Again: A Prehistory of the Wex, 1968-89, which will showcase the largest presentation of Ohio State's permanent collection to date. Over 80 works by artists including Eva Hesse, Adrian Piper, Frank Stella, and Futura2000 will be featured. This exhibition highlights the history of student activism at Ohio State and traces a call-and-response between art and politics on campus during the 1970s and 1980s. We would also like to recognize PhD students Karin Flora and Liz Heise-Glass, who are part of a cohort of researchers responsible for the Learning Guide for this exhibition.

The exhibition will open Friday, February 4 with a free public preview from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Professor Danny Marcus will also be moderating a panel discussion with Jerri Allyn, Stephanie Blackwood, Julian Myers-Szupinska, and Mark Svede at 5:30 p.m. Details on the livestream of the event if you cannot attend in person. The exhibition will run through May 8.
