The Group for the Intellectual Life of the Department (GILD) will offer a graduate professional development workshop on September 26th, 11:30 AM in Pomerene Hall 240.. Professors Ravi Binning and Kris Paulsen will discuss strategies and issues related to early career publishing.

Topics will range from transforming seminar papers for scholarly publication to choosing appropriate journals. In addition, they will demystify aspects about manuscript preparation and the formal peer-review process. Graduate students of all levels will stand to gain much from the discussion.
