Screening of Jumana Manna’s Film “Foragers” at the Wexner Center for the Arts
History of Art students and faculty are invited to attend a screening of Jumana Manna’s 2022 film “Foragers” at the Wexner Center for the Arts on Thursday Nov. 9 at 12:30. The film is described on the Wex’s website as follows: “In Manna’s meditative documentary, the Palestinian, Berlin-based filmmaker and sculptor sheds light on the more covert paths of cultural erasure enforced by governments…With wry, surprising humor and moments of true poetry, Foragers conveys the joy and wisdom rooted in the ancestral practice of foraging as it strives to outrun the law at every turn.” The film is being screened in dialogue with the artist’s current show at the Wexner Center, “Break, Take, Erase, Tally.”More information abut the film
