PhD Candidate April Riddle Awarded the 2025 Summer Graduate Research Fellowship by the Umwelt Center for Germanic Studies and Environmental Humanities

PhD candidate April Riddle was recently awarded the 2025 Summer Graduate Research Fellowship by the Umwelt Center for Germanic Studies and Environmental Humanities. This $7000 fellowship will allow April to travel throughout Germany this summer to conduct dissertation research for her second dissertation chapter, “Temporal Displacements: Playing the Financialized Environment.”
 
The Umwelt Center is an international research center dedicated to exploring the intersections of Environmental Humanities with Germanic Studies, while forging connections to a variety of disciplines and perspectives.
