Prof. Kris Paulsen recently published an interview with artist and data scientist Angie Waller in the Walker Art Center’s Reader.  In the conversation, “Is AI Sorry It Took Your Job,” they discuss Waller’s  art and design practice that uncovers the mechanics of surveillance and data analysis and challenges the corporate myths they operate within. They examine  how Waller combines humor and formal experiments to draw out the broader human realities of tech and make visible the unseen forces of digital capitalism and authoritarian automation.
