Professor of Practice Daniel Marcus's essay, “Weapons of the Weak,” has been republished in the exhibition catalogue Dark Light: Realism in the Age of Post-Truths (Aïshti Foundation, Beirut) at the invitation of guest curator Massimiliano Gioni. The essay deals with a suite of paintings by artist Nicole Eisenman, and was originally commissioned on the occasion of her 2017 exhibition Dark Light at the Secession, Vienna.
