Professor Kunimoto Giving a Talk at Sophia University in Tokyo
In December 2022, Associate Professor Namiko Kunimoto will examine works by Shimada Yoshiko, the Tomorrow Girls Troop, Kim Seo-kyung, and Kim Eun-sung in her talk at Sophia University. Her talk will consider the aspirations and implications of Shimada's performance work, Becoming a Statue of a Japanese 'Comfort Woman,' specifically in relation to Feminism and Bourgeois Liberalism.
