Ujaan Ghosh has completed a decade-long project translating the seventeenth-century Odia Rāmāyaṇa, Baidehiśa Bilāsa. Co-authored with Amrita Chowdhury, this first English translation brings to light a crucial early modern work, notable for its rich and provocative erotic reworking of the Sanskrit epic.
