Professor Ujaan Ghosh Publishes Article in the International Journal of Hindu Studies

Professor Ujaan Ghosh published his article, Struggling with Kṛṣṇa: Alternative Imaginations in an Odia Mahābhārata, on the multiplicity of the Mahābhārata tradition in early modern India in the International Journal of Hindu Studies. The article looks at the reception of the epic in regional traditions, particularly in Odisha, and interrogates how regional imaginations wrestled with questions of gender, theophany, and human agency.
