Lu McKinney is a History of Art PhD student specializing in Mongolian visual and material cultures. Her research examines the relationship between performance and its representations and Mongolian national identity from 1911 to the present day. She is particularly interested in depictions of Buddhist ritual practice. Prior to coming to OSU, Lu received her BA in Art & Architecture History from Miami University (Oxford, OH).
