Connor McClelland is a PhD Student studying medieval and early modern European art, with a focus on representations of violence against non-combatants in illuminated manuscripts. His research centers on social history, the making of history through the chronicle, and the relationship between text and images in manuscripts. Connor holds a BA in Art and Architecture History and a BA in History from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
