Dr. Chaganti joined the faculty of the UC Davis English Department in 2001. She specializes in Old and Middle English poetry and its intersections with material culture.

In her keynote address, she will speak to the Symposium themes of not only "bodies in motion" but also receptions of the Middle Ages and the migration of medieval cultural traditions.
