The Lightning Fire Research Talks will be a virtual event featuring four graduate students: Alanna Radlo-Dzur, Anna Talarico, Maggie Wilson, and Keyu Yan. Each person will share his or her research in a new, rapid-fire format: 1 slide, 500 words in 5 minutes. Each talk will provide a brief glimpse into the research interests of the presenter that will in turn spark deeper conversations and connections. After the four talks, we will open the session for questions and dialogue from the audience. We hope this new format will be dynamic and fun, making the most of a virtual platform. Thank you in advance to our four presenters. Special thanks to Keyu Yan for coordinating the event in his role with the GILD committee in addition to sharing his own research.
