PhD Candidate J. Berzal de Dios won the 2013 Dr. Gordon P.K.Chu Memorial Award in order to conduct research in Florence and Venice on their dissertation entitled "The Spectacle of Space: Visual Experiences in the Early Modern Scenography of Italy."
