Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. Congratulations to Mabi Ponce de León on receiving the Fulbright-Hays Award

A recipient of the Fulbright-Hays Award, PhD Candidate Mabi Ponce de León will be one of twelve to take part in Teaching the Andes, studying in Otavalo, Ecuador and Cuzco, Peru. Educational activities will include daily intensive Quechua and Andean studies, educational excursions to Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca (Bolivia), and participation with the local communities.

Organized by the Center for Latin American Studies, this four-week program will take twelve K-12 educators in various disciplines to Ecuador and Peru during Summer 2017.  Participants will benefit from a wide variety of activities that explores the history, politics, language, and culture of the Andes while developing innovative approaches to teaching and studying the region, in addition to Quechua language instruction.
