The History of Art Department congratulates Asia Adomanis on successfully defending her dissertation, “On the Borders of Abstraction: Chinese American Artists and the Politics of
Hybridity in American Art at Mid-century.” Asia was advised by Professor Jody Patterson and Professor Emeritus Judy Andrews; also serving on her dissertation committee were Professors Lisa Florman, Namiko Kunimoto, and Sam Aranke. Congratulations, Asia, on reaching this important milestone!
