Doctoral student Alanna Radlo-Dzur was admitted to the 2019 Folger Shakespeare Library Institute
Scholarly Program Weekend Seminar, “The Visual Art of Grammar: Iconographies of Language from Europe to the Americas,” at Brown University in early November. 

Her dissertation research examines the structure of imagery depicting invisible essences in early-modern Central Mexican art and focuses on the representation of breath, the sensorium, and the divine in Nahua image production.
