Doctoral Student Linda Huang Receives Chiang Ching-kuo Dissertation Fellowship

Doctoral student Linda Huang has received the Chiang Ching-kuo fellowship dissertation for students in the American region. This program is funded by the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange. This foundation serves to support students in conducting research and projects that examine Chinese culture and society, as well as gaining experience in global interactions. This fellowship is awarded to doctoral students in their final year conducting research that contributes to the advancement of the field of Chinese Studies. Huang was awarded $20,000 to complete her dissertation "Re-imagining Post-socialist Corporeality: Technology, Body, and Nation in Post-Mao Chinese Art."
