Julia Andrews Receives Guggenheim Fellowship

The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation has announced that Distinguished University Professor Julia F. Andrews has received a Guggenheim Fellowship for the 2016/17 academic year. She will use her time as a Fellow to work on her next book, China Roar: Painting Societies and the Creation of Modern Chinese Art, 1919-1949, which examines the privately organized painting societies that proliferated in China's cities during the first half of the twentieth century.
