PhD candidate Caroline Koncz was awarded the Gladys Krieble Delmas grant to perform research in Venice. The Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation seeks to aid students and institutions in the study and advancement of arts and cultures. This grant supports individual students in the research of a variety of aspects of Venetian culture, such as art, history, music and architecture. Koncz will spend the summer in the Veneto working on her dissertation project, “Beyond Titian’s Venus: The Nude Body and Social Control in Late Cinquecento Painting.”
