PhD Student Cole J. Graham Presents Paper at the University of Northampton

On Saturday, September 11, PhD student Cole J. Graham presented the paper "Monstrous Possibilities: States of Racial Transmutation in Hiromu Arakawa's FullMetal Alchemist" at the third annual Trans-States Conference at the University of Northampton in Northamptonshire, England. Cole's trip was funded by Cathleen M. Murnane Travel Scholarship funds. Though he spent only a few days in the UK, Cole is grateful to have had the opportunity both to present his own findings and to hear from current scholars conducting research at the intersections of art, esotericism, occultism, and transitory states of being. He also saw his first raven, which was very exciting.
