On March 9, 2023, Karin Flora travelled to the Renaissance Society of America conference held in San Juan, Puerto Rico and presented her research paper, “Roman Goddess and Mary: Clashing Conceptions of the Feminine in Giulio Romano and Raphael's Ceres”. This trip also provided Karin with the opportunity to learn about the rich cultural history of San Juan and visit Early Modern historical sites such as the late 16^th century Fort San Juan built by the Spanish.
