PhD student Tony Del Aversano received funding from the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. to attend their weeklong skills course, “An Orientation to Research Methods and Agendas,” in August 2024. There, he, alongside other early-stage graduate students from across the country, worked closely with rare book materials, examined bibliographical tools, and learned best practices for working with digital images. The skills learned from this course will greatly aid in his current research of Italian late medieval art and manuscript history.
