In May 2025, PhD student Tony Del Aversano traveled to Europe to see exhibitions focusing on medieval Italian art. Supported by the Graduate Research Small Grants Program, and the Cathleen M. Murnane Travel Scholarship Fund, Tony traveled to Paris and London to see shows on the 13^th-century artist Cimabue and on14^th-century Sienese painting, respectively. The exhibitions aided in his research for his upcoming dissertation.
