Professor Sam Aranke participated in Getty Research Institute and Royal Academy of Arts two-day public forum Kerry James Marshall: Conversations examining the many influences behind Marshall’s work. The forum, co-organized with Black Curatorial, was motivated by the exhibition Kerry James Marshall: The Histories, the artist’s first exhibition of his paintings and the largest outside of the US, at the Royal Academy in London.  The symposium can now be viewed in full here.
