On Friday, March 6, students in History of Art 4030: Art and Conservation travelled to Cleveland, Ohio to visit conservation labs in the area. The group first visited ICA - Art Conservation and then traveled to the Cleveland Museum of Art to visit their conservation labs.  New this semester, this course has introduced History of Art majors and minors to a broad range of conservation subfields from architectural and historic to digital preservation.  In the classroom, students have had the opportunity to hear from working professionals in the conservation world and see conservation in action via the field trip to Cleveland and visits around campus such as OSU Libraries Conservation Lab and OSU Special Collections.
