Join us Thursday, April 4 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm in 160 Jennings Hall for Life Beyond Degree History of Art, Part 1: Network with Impact, an interactive presentation where you’ll learn best practices and effective strategies for networking. This engaging workshop will help you understand the characteristics of a good elevator pitch and why it's necessary. You’ll learn how to incorporate the career readiness competencies into your elevator pitch and have the opportunity to prepare and practice your own. You will then be equipped to implement the strategies learned in this workshop when connecting with alumni during Life Beyond Degree History of Art, Part 2: Mix and Mingle with History of Art Alumni which will take place the following week. Additional content covered during Part 1 includes utilizing social media to connect with alumni and employers.
