On Tuesday, February 8 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., join the College of Arts and Sciences for a conversation about the role of art in social justice, moderated by Wendy Smooth, Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Associate Professor Jennifer Suchland and Roy Lichtenstein Foundation Chair of Art History Jody Patterson will discuss how they activated the #ArtUnitesCbus project in their coursework. #ArtUnitesCbus is an initiative to employ Columbus-based visual artists to paint murals on plywood installed over windows in Columbus. These murals have empowered artists and their communities to express their support of protests and hope for the future.
