Professor Karl Whittington with his students from The Art of Paris: Gothic Cathedrals. The course is taught with one week in Columbus and two weeks engaging directly with works of art in Paris, France. The focus of the course will be on the architecture, decoration, and cultural function of gothic cathedrals from medieval Paris during the 13th and 14th centuries. The group will also travel outside of Paris to visit cathedrals at Reims, Chartres, and Laon.
