In honor of late Professor Emeritus John C. Huntington (1937-2021), Christina Wei-Szu Burke Mathison organized a panel entitled “Perspectives on Asian Art – In Memory of John Huntington” for the Association for Asian Studies annual conference in Boston. Former students of John’s (Sarah Magnatta (Ph.D., 2014), David Efurd (Ph.D., 2008), Anning Jing, Ph.D. (M.A. at OSU, 1989), Christina Wei-Szu Burke Mathison (Ph.D., 2013) gathered to present recent research and remember John’s teaching and mentorship. Attendees of the panel included OSU alumni from John’s more than forty years of teaching.
