The Department Congratulates Julie Defossez

Julie Defossez successfully defended her dissertation, “Take Care: Gender, Labor, and Capitalism in the Maintenance Art of Mierle Laderman Ukeles.”  Her dissertation committee consisted of Kris Paulsen (chair), Lisa Florman, and Jody Patterson.
