The Department congratulates Yiwen Liu on the successful defense of her dissertation entitled, "Becoming an Art Space: The Daxin Gallery and the Art World in Republican Shanghai (1912-1949)."

After graduation, Yiwen will be a Research Assistant with the Cleveland Museum of Art. In the two-year position,  she will be conducting research related to the museum's collection and assisting in curating exhibitions.
