Former Student Worker Laurel Hilliard Hired as Digital Content Editor at the Wexner Center for the Arts
The department of History of Art employs excellent student employees that support the academic mission of our department. Laurel Hilliard was a student assistant with the department for several years. During their time with History of Art, they created website and social media content for the department, among myriad other tasks. Recently, Laurel was hired as the Digital Content Editor at the Wexner Center for the Arts. Congrats, Laurel!
As the Digital Content Editor, Laurel works in the Department of Marketing and Communications managing digital content development for emails and wexarts.org, which includes copywriting, editing, technical production, and scheduling. In collaboration with the Web Developer and Editor, Laurel also manages the center's content management system (CMS). Working closely with the Editor, Senior Graphic Designer, Chief Communications Officer (CCO), and other team members, they conceive digital initiatives that capitalize on cross-channel marketing opportunities to expand the center's reach locally and beyond. They work with colleagues across the institution to generate these materials and, as a Digital Accessibility Coordinator, help develop best practices to create a web space that is equitable, accessible, and informative.
