Four History of Art faculty members presented on their research in “Current Threads in and against Art History: Power, Colonialism, Genocide,” a department-sponsored event. Aaron Katzeman, Benjamin Jones, Carlos Rivas, and Ujaan Ghosh gave presentations on their research, focusing on the limits of art history as a discipline and what might happen if we work to unravel elitism and colonial investments in the field from the inside out. This event was at full capacity and included faculty, staff, and students from across the university.
