The family has asked us to announce a gathering in Columbus at the North Chapel of the Shaw Davis Funeral Home (4341 North High Street) on Saturday, August 14, 1-3pm, for the "Visitation and Celebration of Life for Howard Crane."

The memorial will be a drop-in, open house event, with photographs of Howard and a slide show in his honor. The main feature will be togetherness. We hope you can make it.

Please know that the History of Art Department has also created the Howard Crane Memorial Fund, which is intended to "support History of Art graduate students and majors for whom financial support would make a significant difference in their lives, reflecting the generosity and extraordinary kindness that Howard Crane exemplified as a professor, scholar and friend."
