Namiko Kunimoto Receives Ishibashi Japan Foundation Fellowship and Asian American Studies Service Award

Namiko Kunimoto

Professor Namiko Kunimoto was awarded an Ishibashi Japan Foundation Fellowship. This program aims to support the development of professionals specializing in the study of Japanese visual arts by providing an opportunity for curators and researchers from abroad to conduct research in Japan.

Kunimoto was also awarded an Ohio State Asian American Studies Service Award. This award was given to students, staff, and faculty whose efforts were crucial to the work of Asian American Studies after the shooting that took place in Atlanta on March 16, 2021.
