PhD Candidate Asia Adomanis recently traveled to Manchester, England to present at the University of Manchester’s Understanding Displacement in Visual Art and Cultural History: 1945 to Now conference. The presentation, “Materiality of the Avant-Garde: Encountering Migratory Aesthetics in Tseng Yuho’s Western Frontier (1964),” comprises part of Asia’s dissertation research and was part of a multi-disciplinary panel on Displaced Modernisms.
