On February 22, PhD Candidate Keyu Yan presented a paper entitled “Remaking Spaces: Agency and Queerness in the Art of Tseng Kwong Chi (1950-1990)” for the panel “Spaces” at this year's Global Asias Interdisciplinary Conference in Irvine, California. As one of the two art historians at this conference, he was very happy to make friends from disciplines such as English, Comparative Literature, and Film & Digital Media.

Keyu’s trip was supported by the ASC Graduate Research Small Grants Program.
