PhD Candidate Keyu Yan Publishes in East Asian Publishing and Society
Graduate Student Keyu Yan's peer-reviewed article, “Modernizing Sculpture: Print Culture and the New Discourse on Sculpture in China, circa 1880–1929,” is recently published in East Asian Publishing and Society. This article examines the intersection of early twentieth-century Chinese sculpture, printed materials, and intellectual history while considering the text-image disjunction, translingual practices, and the relationship between craft and fine arts.
