PhD Student Dareen Hussein was featured in a video that was created as part of a Lantern article on the closing of the Wexner Center for the Art’s spring show, Sarah Maldoror: Tricontinental Cinema. Dareen has been involved with the show in numerous ways throughout its run, as it intersects with her dissertation research on Arab women’s cinema of the 1970s and 1980s. She taught an undergraduate seminar in History of Art this spring on the topic of “Political Film in the Art Museum,” engaging students with the show throughout the semester.
