Red Horizon at the Columbus Museum of Art
The Department collaborated with the Columbus Museum of Art to sponsor a panel discussion on dissident art in the USSR, in conjunction with the exhibition Red Horizon: Art and Photography in the USSR and Russia, 1960-2010. The members of the panel were (from left to right) Tyler Cann, CMA curator of contemporary art; Natalia Sidlina, curator of Russian art at Tate Modern in London; artist Vitaly Komar; Christina Kiaer, Associate Professor of Art History at Northwestern University; photographer Alexey Titarenko; and Drew Sawyer, CMA curator of photography and head of exhibitions.
