Yanfei (Effie) Yin has been awarded a Presidential Fellowship for the 2016-17 academic year in order to complete work on her dissertation entitled "Painting and Poetry: Rediscovering An Ethical World in Traditionalist Arts of China between 1949 and 1979."  Yanfei is writing her thesis under the direction of Distinguished University Professor Julia F. Andrews.  She is one of 24 students from 21 departments to have been awarded this prestigious fellowship from OSU's Graduate School in the Autumn 2015 round of competition.
