Maggie Wilson is a PhD student studying medieval sacred art. Her research interests include the visual culture of female enclosure and representations of queer intimacy in devotional contexts. She received her BFA in Studio Art from Alfred University in 2014, and an MFA in Studio Art from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2019. In 2021 she received her MA in History of Art from the Ohio State University. Her Master's Thesis was entitled "Nuns, Priests, and Unicorns: Layers of Enclosure in the Ebstorf Altar Cloth."
