PhD Candidate Anthony Del Aversano Presents Paper at the 25th Vagantes Conference on Medieval Studies
In April 2026, PhD candidate Tony Del Aversano attended the 25th Vagantes Conference on Medieval Studies, in Rochester, New York. There, he presented his paper “Queering the Holy Court: Angel Attendants in Late Medieval Painting” at a panel titled Devotional Art and Visual Culture.
Tony’s trip was generously supported by the Department of History of Art Symposium Grant and an Arts and Humanities Graduate Research Small Grant.
