PhD Candidate Maggie Wilson Wins CASVA Dissertation Research Fellowship

PhD Candidate Maggie Wilson has won the three year Paul Mellon Fellowship from the Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts (CASVA) at the National Gallery of Art in Washington. This fellowship will support Maggie full-time for three years while she completes her dissertation, “Making and Breaking Enclosure: The Movement of Art through Late Medieval Convents.” She will spend the 2024-25 and 2025-26 Academic Years conducting research and writing in Germany, and the 2026-27 Academic Year finishing the dissertation in residence at The Center in Washington.
